Can you freeze petit filous

Feeding the kids Lunch. Feeding the kids Packed lunch ideas?? In answer to Tracey B I'm sure you can freeze them, I think I once saw it as a suggestion on the side of a box of those ones you can buy in tubes. But I'm not sure the texture would be that nice if it was still half-frozen at lunchtime. I use mini ice packs in my children 's lunch boxes instead of freezing the fromage frais.

You need to use them really, even if it's an insulated lunchbox. I always put a tube of fromage frais or a Babybel in the lunchboxes, and they stay perfectly cold if they are in with an ice pack. Obviously I'm not at school when the kids eat their lunch, but I do the same on picnics and the yogurts have always been cold. You could have a trial at home to see if freezing the fromage frais works, but I'd still say you'd need an ice pack to keep the sandwiches cold. I find the drops really handy just to have in a bag.
