Who owns arden grange
I do feed raw chicken wings as well to help keep the teeth clean and have been happy using this for many years over many generations. Can I ask how it effects the teeth please? I've fed beta to my chihuahuas and dachshunds and all their teeth are terrible at the age of 4!! They have had dental chews and plaque off on their food from a young age but still have bad teeth! Just got a cocker and don't want the same problem with him?! Any suggestions would be great : thanks. Apparently dog 'dental chews' are no more effective at removing plaque than ordinary dry biscuit.
Cleaning a dog's teeth with a brush is the only way to remove plaque before it hardens and forms calculus - then it can only be removed by scaling. I also feed Arden Grange to my mini wire - but intersperse with raw, such as raw chicken wings as that really helps them clean their teeth. Just thinking of giving Nutriment a go as I've heard great things about it.
Arden Grange Premium is a chicken based feed that is maize free. Their Pork and Sensitive diets are maize free too. I am sure this used to be maize free? My dog always did really well on this, but over the last few months has been shedding - a lot!
A review of the ingredients and maize is listed- my dog has had problems with this in other foods before- shame, as this is widely available and not over priced. In general, unless your dog has health issues, you probably won't have to worry about these figures.

Ingredients have to be listed in descending order of their weight so the higher it appears, the more there is. Ingredients that we believe to be controversial or inferior are highlighted in yellow with particularly low grade, highly contentious or excessively vague ingredients in red.
Information in italics is not usually avaialble on the ingredients list but has been provided to us by the manufacturer to help with our ratings. While the 'mixing bowl' composition is useful for knowing what went into the food, it doesn't always reflect what your dog is actually eating. This is because the processes that turn the ingredients into the finished pet food can significantly alter the relative weights of the ingredients.
For this reason we've calculated the approximate 'as fed' percentages for the main ingredient categories in the finished product. Please note that these figures are very approximate. They are estimates based on the information provided by the manufacturer in the ingredients list so the clearer the terminology and the more percentages they provide, the more accurate our estimates will be.

Certainly in my area, the customers I have are very focused on customer service, and they have the information they need on products at their fingertips. In Spring, for example, we can expect a new launch into cat which already has a good range of grainfree products , and other products will be rolled out as well. I believe in the product, and that is why we are here.

The meals formulated by Arden Grange are as tasty as they are healthy — which is something that is rare when it comes to dog food — fortunately Wendy and Graham knew that there was no point making a dog food that will help dogs lead long, healthy lives if they would not be willing to eat it.
The palatability of Arden Grange dog food is one of its most outstanding features, but what makes their meals even more extraordinary is that each and every one is hypoallergenic; in other words they contain no wheat gluten , beef, soya or dairy products.
Essentially all their dog food is safe for any dog to eat, irrelevant of their physical constitution or potential allergies. In addition to being free from potentially allergenic ingredients, Arden Grange dog food also contains no added salt or sugar, and is completely and utterly free from artificial colours, flavours or preservatives; thereby ensuring that it is as healthy as can be.
